Three Utah Men Rape Child While Mother Smoked Meth in Garage

May 4, 2018 By Deborah Campbell Leave a Comment

Meth

Police said that mom smoked meth in the garage while her daughter was being raped inside the house.

Three individuals from Utah are expected in court to answer for charged with sexual assault and drug possession. The suspects were arrested in late 2016 after a 9-year-old child claims that they’ve raped her while her mother was off smoking meth with a friend in the garage.

Meth Mom to Face Child Abuse Charges

At the beginning of this week, 31-year-old Jerry, his 28-year-old brother, Randall, and Larson RonDeau, 38, will appear before a Utah court to answer for rape charges.

According to court documents, in March 2016, a Utah mother, acquainted with the suspects, organized at Easter-egg hunt at her home for her 9-year-old daughter. The woman invited the suspects and another individual.

While the woman fled to the garage to smoke meth with one of the party guests, RonDeau and the Flatlip brothers dragged the 9-year-old child inside the house and gang-raped her.

Based on the child’s testimony, after the three Utah men sexually assaulted her, they’ve ordered her to keep quiet. Otherwise, they will kill her and the woman.

The prosecution declared that the child was so afraid for her life that it took her nearly two days to tell her mother what happened during the Easter-egg.

Soon after that, all three suspects and the girl’s mother were taken into custody. The child, whose identity will not be revealed for her own protection, has been returned to her Native American tribe.

Meanwhile, all three suspects were indicted on rape charges. As for the mother, the authorities charged the woman with misdemeanor child abuse and consuming drugs.

Conclusion

One week before the men’s trial began, the woman was sentenced to serve time in prison and to check herself into a rehabilitation clinic.

The trial might prove to be problematic for the prosecution, as the defense attorney reveals that there’s no physical evidence to suggest that the child was raped.

The family of Rebecca Zeni Files Lawsuit Against Shepherds Hill Nursing Home

May 3, 2018 By Karen Jackson Leave a Comment

Rebecca Zeni

The Family of Rebecca Zeni intends to seek justice for the woman’s excruciating death.

Following the excruciating death of Rebecca Zeni, a former TV assistant, and New York model, her family intends to file a lawsuit against the profit-oriented nursing home, accusing the staff of deliberately allowing the 93-year-old woman died. The family’s attorney stated that the Lafayette-based nursing home failed to report three scabies outbreaks to the Health Department.

Rebecca Zeni Died After Being Eaten Alive by Norwegian Crusted Scabies

According to the medical examiner’s report, Rebecca Zeni’s cause of death was staph septicemia caused by Norwegian crusted scabies. More specifically, millions of mites burrowed in the woman’s skin causing a Staph A infection.

The woman’s family is devastated by Zeni’s passing and blames the nursing home’s management for allowing the woman to die in excruciating pain.

Mike Prieto, the family’s lawyer, declared that there’s more than enough evidence file a lawsuit against the Shepherds Hill nursing home.

According to the facts, the same nursing home had a long history of whitewashing scabies outbreaks. The first incident occurred 2013, three years after Rebecca Zeni was admitted into the nursing home. Approximately ten staff members and an equal number of patients were treated for scabies symptoms, but the administration failed to report the incident to Georgia’s Department of Health.

Two similar incidents occurred in 2014 and the following year and in both instances the administration failed to report. More than that, the family’s lawyer stated that Shepherds Hill nursing home refused to take preventing measure after each outbreak.

Conclusion

Zeni’s first symptoms surfaced in fall 2013. First, it was a simple rash, but very soon, the woman’s condition began to deteriorate. The woman passed away on the 2nd of June 2015.

However, this is far from being the end of her story, as the family intends to pursue the nursing home in court for the death of Rebecca Zeni.

Oxfordshire Woman Sentenced After Mother Died in Pool of Diarrhea

May 2, 2018 By Michael Turner Leave a Comment

Oxfordshire Woman

Mother of recently sentenced Oxfordshire woman stood in her own waste five days after she died.

The Oxford Crown Court recently sentenced a 41-year-old Oxfordshire woman to two-and-a-half years in prison after her mother was discovered dead in her house on the 2nd of July 2014. Prosecution declared that the elderly woman was found lying in a pool of diarrhea and that she had urine burns on her body.

Oxfordshire Woman Diagnosed with Mild Autism, Judge Noted

On Friday, Judge Peter Ross of the Oxford Crown Court sentenced 41-year-old Emma-Jane Kurtz of Oxfordshire to two-and-a-half-years in prison for gross neglect that led to the death of her 79-year-old mother.

Ross ordered Kurtz to serve at least half of her prison sentence in light of the graphical evidence presented by the prosecution.

According to the court documents, Cecily Kurtz, Emma-Jane’s mother, was diagnosed with dementia several years ago. Since then, the woman could no longer care for herself, being reliant on the help of her daughter.

In July 2014, the British authorities went to Emma-Jane’s house to check up on her bed-ridden mother. The scene alone would make even the most seasoned police officer turn away in pity and disgust.

According to the police report detailing the Kurtz case, Cecily was found lying on a diarrhea-soaked sofa. Visibly neglected, the 78-year-old woman’s white diaper was mahogany, and she had severe urine burns on her body.

Even more appalling is the fact that the woman was found in an unnatural position, with her chin on her knees. The post-mortem investigation revealed that Cecily Kurtz stood in that position five days after her death.

Francesca Griffin, a Detective Constable, declared that the woman’s clothes nearly fell apart when the paramedics attempted to remove the body from the sofa.

Conclusion

While the defense argued that Oxfordshire woman has autism, Judge Roos dismisses the mental illness defense, arguing that the woman’s condition is mild and can, therefore, be held accountable for her acts.

Transgender Inmate Sues Men-Only Prison Over Right to Practice Wicca

April 26, 2018 By Nancy Young Leave a Comment

Wicca

Transgender inmate wants one dollar from each prison chaplain after she was denied the right to practice Wicca.

The Lanesboro Correctional Institution has been pressured to meet the requirements of a transgender inmate who filed a lawsuit against the federal establishment. According to the inmate’s lawyer, his client feels that his constitutional right to observe a religion has been violated, prison officials denying him to practice Wicca.

Wicca Transgender Inmate Asked for Ritualistic Items, Prison Officials Declared

A Lanesboro Correctional Institution spokesperson declared that Jennifer Ann Jasmaine, a transgender inmate, formerly called Duane L. Fox, has filed a lawsuit against the all-male prison, claiming that her religious needs aren’t met.

Jasmaine, who’s currently serving a 16-year sentence for second-degree sexual battery, stated that the correctional facility holds inmates of all color, creeds, and religions. More than that, Native American and Christian inmates are allowed to practice their religions while the administration denied hers on more than one occasion.

According to Jasmaine’s lawyer, her client is a Wicca adept, an ancient religion, predating Christianity. Jasmaine, like any other religious person, practices her rituals once or twice each week.

Before filing the lawsuit against the correctional facility, the inmate was directed to signing a religious assistance request. One of the prison’s spokesperson declared that state policy dictates that inmates are free to practice any form of religion recognized by the prison system.

Given that Jasmaine’s religion is an exotic one and, therefore, not recognized by the prison system, she was forced to sign the ‘acknowledgment’ document. However, according to the Wiccan inmate, months have passed since she forwarded the request, with no answer in sight.

Conclusion

The transgender inmate’s lawyer also declared that the prison’s requisition officer refused to fill out Jasmaine’s request for religious items, clothes, and special food.

According to the inmate’s lawyer, Jasmaine seeks a trial and one dollar in damages from each chaplain.

DUI Arrest Leads to Discovery of Human Remains in Plastic Bags

April 25, 2018 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

DUI Arrest and Human Remains

Following a DUI arrest, law enforcement officers found two plastic bags inside a car containing white powder.

The Maine authorities have recently been confronted with arguably one of the most bizarre DUI arrests in history. Following a traffic stop, a 31-year-old driver was taken into custody after two bags with white powder were found in his car. As it turns out to be, the bags did not contain heroin, as previously thought, but his grandfather’s cremated remains.

DUI Arrest Suspect Swerved and Hit A Pole, Authorities Claim

On Saturday, 31-year-old Jesse Legendre was taken into custody and charged with driving under influence and drug possession following a traffic stop on a Maine road.

According to the authorities, Legendre was flagged down by a traffic monitor for erratically driving his vehicle.

After being ordered to stop the vehicle, Legendre lost control of his vehicle, swerved, and hit an electric pole. The paramedics later arrived and treated the driver for non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the authorities decided to charged Legendre on an additional count of drug possession, after a search of his vehicle revealed two small plastic bags which contained a powdery, heroin-like substance.

Several days later, the toxicology report compelled the authorities to drop the drug possession charge, as the lab analysis revealed that the powdery substance was actually cremated human remains.

Upon interviewing the suspect, the authorities learned that the vehicle Legendre was driving belonged to his friend, 57-year-old Kevin Curtis.

The car’s owner told the police officers that he just returned from his sister in Florida where he went to pick up his father’s ashes. Since he was waiting for the urn to come home, Curtis ‘forgot’ the ash bags inside the vehicle he later loaned to Legendre.

Conclusion

Although the drug possession charges were dropped, Legendre, the DUI arrest suspect, is still expected in court to answer for other charges that include operating a vehicle after habitual offender revocation, DUI, and tampering with evidence.

April 24, 2018 By Michael Turner Leave a Comment

Sexual Predator

Georgia authorities said that sexual predator managed to accost two women and rape one by posing as Uber driver.

The Georgia authorities recently managed to arrest a dangerous sexual predator who raped a 25-year-old University student. According to the victims, the individual posed as an Uber driver. Police were able to ID and track down suspects using victims’ snapshots of the car’s interior.

Sexual Predator Recognize by Police Officer Who Told Him to Move Car

During a recent press conference, Captain Jerry Sault, the CO of Athens-Clarke County’s Criminal Investigation Division, announced that 56-year-old Emerson Redd was taken into custody and charged with several counts of rape and attempted rape.

Sault stated that Redd’s arrest took 30 hours of hard work and involved state troopers, county deputies, and members of the sexual predator division.

According to Sault’s statements, the first incident involved Redd occurred on Friday night, at around 1:15 a.m. While cruising down the East Washington Street, Redd stopped in front of the Uptown Lounge after seeing a 21-year-old woman with her smartphone in hand.

Pretending to be the Uber ride she ordered, Redd invited the young woman in his car and drove away. Several minutes into the ride, Redd’s victim realized that something is amiss, as the sexual predator had no GPS nor any car markings to suggest that he’s an Uber driver.

After confronting Redd, the man allegedly touched her between the legs. The woman asked Redd to stop and open the passenger’s door. Redd complied and drove off.

An hour later, the individual found another victim, a 25-year-old University student roughly in the same area as his first victim.

After picking up the woman, Redd took off, still pretending to be an Uber Driver. When the woman confronted Redd about the missing GPS, the man allegedly secured the doors and raped her. He later released the woman.

Conclusion

Based on the victims’ testimonies, snapshots depicting the vehicle’s interior, and a police officer claiming to have warned the individual about illegal parking, the authorities were able to track down and arrest the individual.
