Yes! All Dinosaurs Had Feathers – Says Siberian

May 16, 2014 By Michael Turner Leave a Comment

Previously, reports have shown that avian dinosaurs have feathers since they are from the breed of modern birds. The new turn in this research is that, all dinosaurs had feathers and this news is definitely confirmed through the fossils of dinosaurs found in Siberia known as ornithiscians

download

This discovery of fossilized features have changed the understanding of researchers regarding when and from where feathers grown. In Siberia, some researchers found out that these dinosaur was plant eaters.

These verdicts show that dinosaurs had feathers which they used for the purpose attracting mates and insulation. However, these functions are unverified. They lived approximately 175 and 145 million years ago in Siberia in the Jurassic era.

Pascal Godefroit, the study leader of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, said that no doubt they had feathers but still they do not have a single characteristic common between birds and these dinosaurs. Furthermore, he described their appearance and stated that those dinosaurs were almost 5 feet in length with long legs and short arms.

According to Godefroit, this development in research of dinosaurs proved that not merely birds contain feathers but in early ages dinosaurs also have had them.

Decrement in Gas Prices

May 15, 2014 By Cristopher Hall Leave a Comment

New Hampshire has witnessed falling gas prices, in fact prices have fallen 1.3 cents per gallon in the past week. Gasbuddy.com showed the average gas prices on Monday to be $3.65. Even more interesting is the fact that this is relatively higher than the national average which seems to have fallen 3.7 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.61.
Even though these numbers appear to be encouraging let us see how much the prices have changed within the last year and the last month.
Gas prices in New Hampshire are actually 6 cents a gallon higher than they were last year and are also 3.6 cents per gallon higher than last month.
To further put things in perspective; average gas prices in Maine have fallen 2 cents per gallon in the last week and the average price of a gallon on Monday was $3.72 however that is 3.7 cents up from one month ago according to www.gasbuddy.com.

Also noteworthy is the fact that gas prices in Maine are 4.3 cents a gallon higher than they were last year.
This apparently hasn’t affected the national average, which seems to have decreased 4.3 cents per gallon in the last month or so and has defied change when compared to a year ago.

May 14, 2014 By Nancy Young Leave a Comment

Transforming the show’s infectiously hummable theme song into an 8-bit masterpiece and setting the bloody tale of warring clans in Super Mario World’s Dinosaur Land. YouTube user NicksplosionFX has given the intro to HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ the 16-bit treatment.

Internet suffering is an admirable job and this makes the internet more attractive.

Mario and Luigi competing for the Mushroom Throne against the Mad King Bowser and Princess Peach, who directs an army of Yoshis. Throw Wario and the dozen or so other Super Mario side characters into the mix and you have fan fiction gold! I can imagine it now easily.

A fan-made video shows us how Game of Thrones’ intro looks like using Super Mario World sprites and it even has the intro score done in 8-bit.

You can view the videos and get an idea what amazing thing it would be.

Formation of Black Hole due to the Collision of two Stars

May 14, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

NASA released a new video of the collision of two super dense-neutron stars, result the formation of Black hole while destroying each other. Scientist created this video at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center; it results due to the stimulation of super computer of neutron stars collided, when they were 11 miles apart.

The video of neutron stars begin with their collision from about 11 miles apart. According to the NASA scientist, one star contains 1.4 times the mass of our sun when other was about 1.7 times heavier than our sun. Two spiral shaped Neutron stars started to deform while moving towards each other. Spiral arm formed around smaller star when the bigger star remnant caused the smaller star to erupt and started to crush it when it was at little distance.

According to the NASA officials, after every 13 milliseconds, in order to support them against gravity massive star accumulated too much of mass. Soon both stars collapsed and gave birth to a new black hole. NASA also added in Statement “The black hole’s event horizon – its point of no return – is shown by the gray sphere. While most of the matter from both neutron stars will fall into the black hole, some of the less-dense, faster-moving matter manages to orbit around it, quickly forming a large and rapidly rotating torus.”
