Witcher 3’s Final DLC Announced

Witcher 3's Final DLC Announced

The 16th and last DLC for Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has got fans on the edge of their seats with excitement for the new release. Released in May, 2015, Witcher 3 has quickly increased in popularity thanks to its DLCs which included, among others, completely new armors, weapons and even new quests.

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a video game created by Polish video game developer CD Projekt RED that is played in a third-person perspective. It stars Geralt of Rivia, who embarks on a journey across the Northern Kingdoms. The land is filled with dangerous threats which the players have to fight off by using magic or weapons. At the same time, gamers are required to fulfill various quests and missions while travelling on foot or on Geralt’s horse.

Witcher 3's Final DLC Announced

Holding the record for the best selling video game in the UK in 2015, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was ordered by 1,5 million players before it was even launched, dethroning Battlefield Hardline. An additional 4 million copies were sold in the first two weeks after it was launched, which translates into a gross income of 600% higher than its predecessor, Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

What can gamers expect from Witcher 3’s final goodies package? It has been reported that the upcoming DLC will contain a new finishing animation style for Geralt of Rivia. This role playing video game was successful from the beginning, partly due to the fact that the players’ complaints and suggestions have always being taken into consideration by the producing company.

As an example, the game’s most requested feature has been New Game+ and it appears Witcher 3 players will shortly get to see all their dreams come true. This options enables you to start playing again once you’ve finished the game, keeping the weapons and upgrades you had gathered by the end of your previous game.

The second run is usually more difficult and it can also include various tweaks, motivating the gamers to give the video game another go.

According to a tweet published on Witcher’s Twitter page on July 27th, 2015, the latest free DLC, New Game+, is on its way, with a minimum ETA of at least two weeks. CD Project RED, the developer of the game, has worked hard to keep everyone happy, but it’s difficult to predict what they have up their sleeve this time.

There have been rumors about having all travel points unlocked and a tracking feature for the decisions you make on your first run, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Attack on Titan Video-Game to be Released for Nintendo 3DS

Attack on Titan - Anime Series

The Attack on Titan video-game will be released this May the 12th for the Nintendo 3DS, and it will sell for $39,99 on eShops, says Atlus, the publisher.

Some of us were hoping for a new season to be announced for the much loved anime, but we’ll have to be pleased with this I guess.

Its title Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is the literal translation from Japanese – but in Europe, it will be known as Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains due to copyright claims on the whole continent.

There is no release date for Europe, only for North America, and Asia, but Atlus has high hopes that it will release an announcement soon regarding the game’s future on European soil. Both American and European customers will receive a free Attack on Titan theme with their purchase.

Attack on Titan Humanity in Chains

The story revolves around the idea that giant humanoid titans plan to bring the human race to extinction by hunting them down – they don’t just do this for the fun of it all; the titans are eating every single human they catch, regardless if their hungry or not.

The anime tv series that aired in 2013 was based on the manga series written, and drawn, by Hajime Isayama in 2009 – and it focused on how the military of the only city to survive, tries to fight back and defend their people.

The main protagonist Eren Yeager, his adopted sister Mikasa Acherman, and their childhood friend Armin Arlert, join the military after their quadrant has been invaded by titans who killed and ate their family. A Collosal Titan broke through the city’s defence, and made way for the swarm of titans. Eren saw his mother being eaten right in front of him, and with that motivation his only goal in life is to wipe out the giants that ruined his life.

Titans aren’t so easily killed. They have tough skin, and can regenerate quickly; only a quick and strong attack on their weak point can eliminate these brutal monsters – at the nape of their necks, a swift blow is enough.

Attack on Titan Video Game

The thing that makes Attack on Titan so unique and loved is the setting of doom, and utter despair that humanity faces. At the brink of apocalypse their only choice is to fight back and destroy these invaders – although their counter-attack missions prove to be utter failures. The army’s only weapons are reminding us of old Victorian London – flintlock pistols, cannons and swords. Pair the setting with a high amount of drama, cheesy acting, and sometimes annoying whining, and you have the perfect anime.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Attack on Titan, and I’m a geek when it comes to the series, but please, if next season is ever to come out, drop the whole melodrama, and make it less obnoxious – it has tremendous potential, and it can be one of the greatest animes ever made.

Here’s the teaser trailer.

There is also a live action movie planned for Summer of 2015, take a look at the trailer down below:
