May 14, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

Gone are those days when people were not able to perform more than one task at a time, introducing by Apple, iPad are releasing split-screen feature that enables multi-tasking for the users of iPad.

Thing to notice is that Samsung’s TouchWiz and as well as Windows 8 has similar feature already. Apple is just trying to stay up-to-date in this high end competition with the rivals. But currently, all Apps run on a full screen view, including Apps that are developed by Apple itself or the Apps belongs to developers.

This new feature will allow different apps to interact with one another. Lets say, this update will allow you to drag text and images from one app to another. That’s not new for us, since we’ve been doing it with Microsoft’s Surface tablets already. The snap multitasking feature allows you to view and use more than one apps on the device display.

According to the famous portal, “The split-screen multitasking feature on iPad
has been requested by the iPad uses for years and designers also suggested with some sample-interfaces, using tweaks and by making videos for delivering us the request.” He in addition to it also mentioned that this feature is designed by keeping things in mind like 9.7-inch display, but it is not yet confirmed whether will it work with iPad mini or not? It can also be a very crucial feature for the long-time rumoured iPad with 12.9-inch dislpay.

Formation of Black Hole due to the Collision of two Stars

May 14, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

NASA released a new video of the collision of two super dense-neutron stars, result the formation of Black hole while destroying each other. Scientist created this video at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center; it results due to the stimulation of super computer of neutron stars collided, when they were 11 miles apart.

The video of neutron stars begin with their collision from about 11 miles apart. According to the NASA scientist, one star contains 1.4 times the mass of our sun when other was about 1.7 times heavier than our sun. Two spiral shaped Neutron stars started to deform while moving towards each other. Spiral arm formed around smaller star when the bigger star remnant caused the smaller star to erupt and started to crush it when it was at little distance.

According to the NASA officials, after every 13 milliseconds, in order to support them against gravity massive star accumulated too much of mass. Soon both stars collapsed and gave birth to a new black hole. NASA also added in Statement “The black hole’s event horizon – its point of no return – is shown by the gray sphere. While most of the matter from both neutron stars will fall into the black hole, some of the less-dense, faster-moving matter manages to orbit around it, quickly forming a large and rapidly rotating torus.”

May 14, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

Nobody could harm you if the GOD don’t wants. And we have a proof of this, a 15 months old infant who falls from the 11th floor of the building and still survives.

His neighbors and doctors called him the “Miracle Baby” and no doubt he is a miracle himself.

Dr. Tina Slusher of the pediatric intensive care unit at Hennepin County Medical Center said that, “If you and I fell that far, we would be dead”. A fifteen months toddler however survived an eleventh floor fall from a balcony of his house.

He glided through the railing of his family’s balcony just as his father walked into another room to get something on this Sunday night.

The baby Musa Dayib is in serious condition with a concussion and multiple broken bones. But doctors are very hopeful and predicting that he is expected to recover.

Doctors endorsed his survival to the suppleness of babies’ bones and to the fact that he fall on a soft patch of mulch instead of concrete.

“Having said that, it’s a real gift from God that he made it because this is a huge fall,” Dr. Tina Slusher said. Miracles do happen and we pray that the little boy get back to the life soon.

May 13, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

Parrot has made some amazing flying drones in the past that are controlled via a smartphone. The company has rolled out its latest drone that is called the Bebop. A.R.Drone 3.0, known as “Bebop”, crammed with great technology of 14MP camera, Sky controller, controllable from your iPhone, iPad or Android device, with a price tag above $300 to arrive in Q4 2014.

Back in 2010, in the emerging world of consumer drones, a French company Parrot is the most important company and was formerly best known for making Bluetooth audio products. Since Bebop has showed up in market, Parrot has shined its name in this technology too.

That controller has extended range antennas to extend the Wi-Fi range to 1.2 miles. Berkley’s Graduate of Law said sorry for Vegas bird beheading

May 13, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

A University of California, Berkeley, law school graduate, apologized Monday for beheading an exotic bird in Las Vegas during a drunken escapade in October 2012 at a Las Vegas Strip resort and was sentenced to up to four years of probation after completing six months in a Nevada prison “boot camp”.

Justin Teixeira, 25, apologized Monday to the state of Nevada and to people affected by the death of the helmeted guinea fowl named Turk. He must also perform 16 hours of community service each month, Clark County District Court Judge Stefany Miley said at a hearing in Las Vegas.

Berkley’s Graduate of Law said sorry for Vegas bird beheading

“It was the worst moment of my life,” Teixeira said in his first public comment since the incident. “If there was anything I could do to undo it, I would.”
If he completes a probation term of up to four years, he can withdraw his felony plea and instead be found guilty of a gross misdemeanor, Coumou said.

“I think this young man has really paid a significant price for his bad behavior, One bad decision after a night of heavy drinking has really put a serious wrinkle in his future.”
Two other men were convicted for their roles in the case, which drew nationwide headlines.

Hazhir Kargaran, 27, who completed his third and final year at UC Berkeley School of Law, pleaded no contest to three misdemeanors: instigating animal cruelty, property destruction and trespassing. He was sentenced to two days in jail and 48 hours of community service.

Eric Cuellar, 26, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of instigating animal cruelty. He got a $200 fine and 48 hours of community service.
But the judge came down hard with her sentence. She told Teixeira his animal shelter commitment will last as long as his probation, regardless of other employment or school enrollment.

Google Glass goes On Sale at a Florida Golf Club

May 12, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

Google had showcased the Google Glass during a Golf tournament yesterday in Florida. They were found secretly selling it to wealthy golfers at Players Championship PGA event at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

This was the first event where Google tried to sell its Google Glass in a surprising way and it was an official debut of a retail display of Google Glass.

google_glass

The news came from a tweet, with an attractive Google Glass logo and few Google Glass models unpacked for demonstration. This was first picked up by The Business Insider.

A wealthy golfer, Richard Ranick said in a tweet that in the first debut of Google Glass’s retail display had much better sales than expected. Google also offered a free miniature camera accessory for one’s golf club for every purchase of Google Glass during the Golf event. This was some kind of a promotion to attract wealthy golfers to try out their Google Glass.

In the month of April, Google had kept the Google Glass for one day sale and it was priced at $1500. Google had said “Google is targeting just a few early adopters to understand how to further develop Glass and doesn’t actually want average Joes using it until it’s a much more mature product.”

After the huge success of Google’s one-day Glass sale in April, they have decided to sell its wearable device again at the same rate. But this time it was rather surprising as it was not publicized and targeted only golfers.

Regarding this, Google wrote in a Google+ post: “In the last six months, we’ve been amazed and inspired by our Explorers and the individual perspectives you bring. A few weeks ago, we opened up our site for a single day. The response was overwhelming – we almost ran out of inventory and had to close things down early. We’ve since built our inventory back up and plan to continue to accelerate new ways to expand the program in the weeks and months ahead. Our hope is to bring Glass to new Explorers, like optometrists, sports lovers, online retailers, cooks and travelers, who (like you!) can get in early and help make Glass better as part of our open beta, ahead of a wider consumer launch. These are exciting times and we’re glad to have you along for the ride – keep the feedback coming!”

May 12, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

Samsung’s effort to take over Indian and Russian smart phones market by developing smart phones based on their home ground operating software – Tizen.

The effort is to push the demand of smart phones and enhance the customer experience by introducing something new. Currently, the major chunk is with Android and Windows OS based smart phones.

To introduce and show case very first Tizen based smart phone, Samsung is planning to manage an event in Moscow in this month. “The launch in Russia would be presented at an ‘Unpacked’ event, similar to the format that Samsung uses to unveil its flagship devices,” said by company’s representator.

ti

Surely the strategy is to differentiate and challenges Google who is currently the “King of the Castle” and of course also to create a distinct identity of Samsung.

To reduce the dependency on Google Android the step of introducing Tizen OS based smart phone is considering good for Samsung by the industry experts but the real thing will only be reveal by the passage of time.

According to Samsung, mobile phone uses based in India and Russia have no brand preferences and they would easily accept the Tizen smart phones backed by the brand power of Samsung.
