Parrot has made some amazing flying drones in the past that are controlled via a smartphone. The company has rolled out its latest drone that is called the Bebop. A.R.Drone 3.0, known as “Bebop”, crammed with great technology of 14MP camera, Sky controller, controllable from your iPhone, iPad or Android device, with a price tag above $300 to arrive in Q4 2014.
Back in 2010, in the emerging world of consumer drones, a French company Parrot is the most important company and was formerly best known for making Bluetooth audio products. Since Bebop has showed up in market, Parrot has shined its name in this technology too.

That controller has extended range antennas to extend the Wi-Fi range to 1.2 miles. Power for the quad rotors of the drone comes from an internal battery that is only good for 12 minutes of flight time. The integrated GPS allows the drone to hover in place when the pilot isn’t on the controls. The Oculus Rift headset can be used to position the camera on the drone.
At the launch event in San Francisco, Parrot CEO Henri Seydoux called the Bebop a “flying camera.”
