Ramadan is the month of peace and blessings for the Muslims that helps people to become better Muslims but war in this Holy Month creates anxiety and terror which leads away people from the Holy Spirit of the month as being done in Gaza.
Severe airstrikes are being experienced in the city creating terror and resulting in hundreds of killings making it really difficult for the people of the city to survive in the country. This Holy Month they are experiencing a rush of hardships as there is a shortage of food due to which Muslims of Gaza are not breaking their fasts even after the sunset.
These drone attacks were started at the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan when two Palestinian fighters got killed and wounded in the Gaza Strip. Since then they have fired rockets in the Gaza strips, killing almost 800 innocent people.
Due to these drone attacks the economy of the state has come to an abrupt halt as Gaza do not have enough cash to pay the workers or even partly pay the workers and these excessive attacks on the innocent people have affected the business life of the city, shutting down the major ATMs making it difficult for the fasting Muslims to spend in this Holy Month.
Muhammad Ahmad, a fruit seller was interviewed in this regard discussing how his business was going on in the season. He said that war and terror in this Holy Month has left his business in jeopardy. He added that he used to do business of 1000 shekels per day in this Holy Month of Ramadan but due to these attacks he is only earning a mere 50 shekels leaving him with almost nothing profit.
Israel attacks are still going on leaving the people unprivileged of even their basic needs. The economy of the state has been shaken up badly and there seems to be no end to it. Let’s see how the city handles the economic disaster in the coming days of this Holy Month.
