Tips for iPhone 6 Plus Buyers

September 13, 2014 By Deborah Campbell Leave a Comment

Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are now available for pre-order. iPhone 6 Plus is certainly a very attractive product for the customers due to its 5.5 inch display screen. Following are the instructions that iPhone 6 Plus buyers should consider before its purchase.

At last, Apple has launched iPhone 6 in two new models.  The first model that is iPhone 6  will come with a 4.7 inch screen whereas the iPhone 6 Plus will have a bit larger screen of 5.5 inches. The two products will definitely push down the previous iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s.

Both the iPhone 6 comes with a smooth and slim metal design and powered by an A8 processor. The other options with which iPhone 6 comes are Retina HD displays, lots of storage, numerous price points, main U.S carrier and much more. However, the company merely incorporated the option of Optical Image Stabilization in iPhone 6.

Today, Apple and its affiliated partners started taking the pre-orders of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. As usual the pre-order of iPhone 6 comes with several problems most of them are related to shipping.

Specifically, iPhone 6 Plus which has a large screen is the chief reason of all the problems. Currently, it is not available at any online retailer or any store because of which people are really aggravated. Following are the tips for both the customers who are planning to purchase and those who have already bought it.

Watch out your order:

The people who are fortunate enough to get a pre-order of iPhone 6 plus should keep an eye on the development of that order.

Generally, the position of pre-order changes with time. It might inform you about your shipping in order to make sure that your payment is going well or not.  People should check their pre-order once in a day to make it certain that everything is moving perfectly.

If anything annoys you then immediately call customer service center. Unquestionably, The lines would be jammed, therefore it might take a lot of time. People usually prefer customer service center instead of website since it is more convenient to deal with a human.

Make iPhone 6 Plus Release Date Preparations:

Moreover, if you pre-ordered an iPhone 6 plus then you should make some appropriate iPhone 6 release date arrangements.

The delivery service needs a signature therefore you should be at home all day. If it is not possible for you to stay at home then ask someone else to accept the delivery. Nobody wants their most awaited iPhone 6 to be sent back to the delivery center.

If anything like this happens then you have to call the delivery center and ask them the timings at which you can pick it.

Make Sure To Lineup Early on Friday:

The tips stated below are for the people did not make a pre-order for iPhone 6 plus because of any reason.

Initially, you have to wake up early and get in line if you wish to get your iPhone 6 Plus on its release date. Presently, most of the Apple’s carrier sold out all the pre-order which  indicates that now customers have to join the long lines of stores on 19 of September.

The iPhone 6 Plus is a well-liked phone so there will be lots of people waiting to enter the line. The people who particularly want iPhone 6 Plus should reach the stores before 4AM. It is seems a very unusual but in order to get iPhone 6 Plus you have to make a compromise on your sleep.

Check In With Your Local Store Early

It is better to visit Apple or any other retailer store on Thursday. They might give you some useful information about the stocks or waiting lines. This information will definitely help you on the release day of iPhone 6.

Don’t expect the people of customer service center to be friendly since they are also going through a pretty hectic routine because of the release of iPhone 6. But still they might provide some significant information related to the stock of iPhone 6.

This could prove valuable to those that are looking to buy through a retailer like Best Buy. Typically, stock there and at other retailers is very uneven.

Deals for iPhone 6 Plus:

Wal-Mart is the best place to look for reasonable iPhone 6 deal.  The American multi-national retailer will offer a 16GB on contract iPhone 6 Plus at a price of $279. Though it is not a noteworthy deal but still it is better than future ones.

There are several other deals but they probably would not cut down $20 straight away.

Don’t Compromise:

Many people anticipated for months to get an iPhone 6 with a large screen. Therefore, don’t hurry to buy the device if it is not available in your favorite color or model.  Apple usually supplies a limited stock in the first few weeks of the release of iPhone.

The device is extremely expensive so it is better to buy iPhone 6 of your own choice.

eBay Premiums Aren’t Worth It

The best advice for the people who want to purchase iPhone 6 is to stay away from eBay. The retailer is offering tons of iPhone 6 plus models on eBay but at an awfully high price.

Apple is struggling hard to get hold of iPhone 6 so the product is going to be back after few weeks.  For some crazy fans of Apple it is essential to get iPhone 6 on the exact day of its release even if they have to pay more money for it. On the other hand, most of the people could wait few more weeks in order to save thousand bucks

iPhone 6 Pre-Orders Soon To Be Announced

September 6, 2014 By Deborah Campbell Leave a Comment

Next Tuesday, Apple will launch few more products at DeAnza College in Cupertino. The company has not officially declared anything related to the release of these products. However, the rumors are that Apple will unveil new iPhone along with a brand new iWatch.  People are curious to know the major details of iPhone 6 such as specs of iPhone 6, release date and pre-orders.

The previous year, Apple did not offer pre-orders for iPhone 5s which is undoubtedly a trick to win more attention of the customers.  Apple’s clients of the United States will certainly have to wait for pre-orders till the 9th of September. Whereas, some of the Chinese carriers have already announced iPhone 6 pre-orders even before its release date.

China Mobile, a Chinese state owned telecommunication company nearly took 30,000 pre-orders of iPhone 6. As per the rumors, the carrier is giving option to its customers for both 4.7-inch model and 5.5-inch model with the conventional storage sizes.  Usually, iPhone is launched with storage of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64GB. However, people are still unaware of what will be the exact storage of iPhone 6.

China Telecom, one of the major rivals of China Mobile has also begun to take pre-order for iPhone 6. The company has launched a special splash page for this purpose which contains some images of iPhone 6 as well.
The splash page portrays a 4.7-inch iPhone, which will come along with a Touch ID, an A8 processor, a 2000 mAh battery and a 3 MP front facing camera. However, these features are still grounded on the rumors of iPhone 6. For example, iPhone 6 is rumored to have a 1,810 mAh battery instead of 2,000mAh battery.

The photos shown on the pre-order page are not the original pictures of iPhone 6.

According to the reports of TechChrunch, the name iPhone is not clear in the images displayed on the pre-order website. Though the reason behind this action is still vague, the carrier might have done it due to the pressure of the company. The name of the new iPhone is not yet officially declared; therefore the company’s naming pattern points to an iPhone 6 release.

These pre-order from carriers are merely visible in one country that is China. On the other hand, people don’t have the slightest idea about the pre-order in the United States. Most probably the reason behind this is that U.S carrier strictly follows Apple for everything. Predictions are that there would not be any pre-order for the people living in the United States till the 9th of September.

As per the assumptions, Apple’s executives will inform officially inform the customers about the specs of iPhone 6 on 9th of September. The expected features are improved design, new display, new processor, new camera, and iOS 8 and much more.  Rumors are that the iPhone 6 will arrive in markets in the mid of September or the beginning of October.

Apple is expected to launch iPhone 6 in two novel models, one with 4.7 inch screen and the other with 5.5 inch screen. The smaller one will probably touch the market till the end of September; however the date of the larger screen iPhone 6 is not even in the rumors. The company is planning to release both the models before the Christmas Holidays although there is no particular date.

Apple will unveil iPhone 6 along with two other devices which are iWatch and a new iPad Air 2. These rumors are certainly not verified by the company.

Reason behind the Success of PlayStation 4

September 5, 2014 By Deborah Campbell Leave a Comment

Play station 4 has sold almost 10 million units worldwide. If we compare it with the sales record of the previous play station, then PS4 broke all the records. The PS3 had sold half of the units as compared to PS4 whereas PS2 reached the mark of 10 million in about twelve months. Though PS2 was considered as the most popular console in the history of Sony.

This is the time period in which smart phones and tablets have taken all the market of console games. However, in this tough era PS4 has succeeded in winning the attention of the entire world.

The interesting part is that the reason behind this great success is still mysterious. Shuhei Yoshid, the head Sony Worldwide Studios said that the company is completely clueless and has no clarification for this great  success of PS4. Moreover, he expressed that it is truly beyond the expectation of the company.

No doubt this huge success of PS4 is making the organization restless since they desire to figure out the reason behind this huge success of PS4. The revelation of the cause would provide a great help in the formation of new strategies.

There are several possibilities of this success on which experts of Sony are yet working. One of them is the failure of Xbox One. People usually believe the release of Xbox One a terrible disaster for Microsoft. The chief reason behind the ineffective launch of Xbox One is the long list of requirements which came along with the game.

The company manufactured these thinner and lighter iPhones through a special liquid metal. Apple has utilized its rights for the use of this particular material.

Earlier almost every single rumor proposed  that the screen of iPhone 6 will relatively larger than the screen of iPhone 5. Apple will uncover iPhone 6 with two sizes, one with 4.7 inches and the other with 5.5 inches. The size of the second iPhone will make it stand in the row of “phablets”. The leaked pictures of iPhone 6 have verified this news of larger screen.

Camera:

Apple will certainly improve the quality of iPhone 5 through some new special softwares. The rumors are that the company is enhancing its camera up to 10 Megapixel with an f/1.8 aperture. The analysts have also predicted different new options for picture editing and image stabilization.

Sources: Yellowstone Supervolcano Eruption Not Catastrophic

August 31, 2014 By Deborah Campbell Leave a Comment

Yellow Stone national Park is currently in news as volcanic calderas & super volcano are located here. The caldera & the most of the park are located in the northwest corner of Wyoming. This region has already experienced 3 eruptions and those were around 2.1 million years, one at 3.1 million years & recent one was 64,000 years ago.

As per the studies & research though there will be super volcanic flare up , at least meter of ash would wrap Rocky mountain range & it can also touch cities on the both coasts of US it may hamper the air travel also  . According to the further research there has been seen relative consistence at yellow stone. Park officials don’t expect this eruption anytime in next 1,000 years and also park is well equipped with monitoring systems & there would be plenty of warning would be set weeks or even months before this eruption would take place.

United states Geological survey are in use of newly developed 3- dimensional modeling program called as Ash3D,  states that though there is a explosion in yellow states that fallout would be huge difference in the fall out then what was expected earlier. The eruption makes its own winds that can overcome the prevailing westerlies that normally dominate weather patterns in United States.

The chances of a volcanic eruption are very low in this given year for sure but still all required measures and frequently checks are being done by the US Geological survey & also continue studies are done on the thickness & distribution of ash deposits if yellow stone erupts

The distribution of ash has a different pattern than smaller eruptions creating an umbrella cloud that can push ash more than a thousand km upwind Yellowstone hasn’t erupted for 70,000 years, so it’s going to take some impressive earthquakes and ground uplift to get things started. And which will be definitely monitored before hand with all there equipments placed in the park .  In Case of emergency experts recommend keeping extra supplies on hand and creating a family emergency communication plan. Beyond that, there is no reason to specifically prepare for an eruptive event at Yellowstone, which remains very unlikely.

August 29, 2014 By Deborah Campbell Leave a Comment

Google is a part of project wing which makes big technical leaps such as self-driving cars and Google Class. Actual drone delivery is the part of the Google. Another surprising thing is that project wing aims to determine its delivery by UAV which is feasible. Some features have also been focused to handle potential issues such as crashes and collisions. Now, for first time Google has taken to the skies and purchased a drone company. It is also working with project loons and tests the use of high-altitude balloons in order to bring the connections in remote areas. Makani Company developed airborne wind turbines between 80 and 350 meters in the air.

Approximately, drones fly within a range of 130-195 feet. The drone’s development by Google’s laboratory Google X begins the tests of self-flying vehicles in mid of the August.  Google has reviewed the tests in California and prepare the set of adventures but in press materials final drones programmed routes in order to deal with unprepared obstacles to have a strong squall of wind.

Company has seen a lot of potential in drones and delivers goods rapidly to form a little intervention from humans. Astro Teller, who is the director of lab illustrate that Mountain View has literally patted Roy on the knee. After two years, the aim becomes so simple to figure out the idea of drone delivery that has made some sense to work on. Google pursue to create a reliable service and build flexible programmed because of drone package. Teller has found a replacement for automated flying machine. Google now already worked with dozen of project to form a new vehicle to deliver its mechanism. Google has entered in the debate where their regulators have started working with the company. The tiny winch from a robot hovering in the air dropped many packages from the sky. It quite sounds crazy but tiny drones send packages flying in the air.
