While informing the tech world about the buyback offer of T-Mobile, the CEO of T-Mobile, John Legere, stated that other leading carriers have been ripping off their customers by offering a low trade-in value deals. He added that the trade-in program from T-Mobile will guarantee the customers in getting the best value for their older devices.

Sprint has revealed a statement to the media that it will be offering up to $300 for older smartphones in exchange for a new smartphone. Like T-Mobile, even Sprint will be monitoring to see if any other carrier is offering a good deal for the iPhone 6.
Sprint which has been suffering losses since the past seven years is also attempting to make good revenue with the arrival of the new iPhone 6. The future is quite uncertain for Sprint even though it is one of the leading carriers in the US.

Most of the newer smartphones in the market are nothing but predecessor models that have been launched quite quickly. For instance, it has been only six months that the Sony Xperia Z2 arrived and Sony has announced its upgraded edition, the Sony Xperia Z3 in the previous week.

The T-Mobile trade-in program for availing the 16GB edition of iPhone 6 will allow users to get $339 trade-in value. On the other side, Gazelle is offering the same product with a price tag of $215. Gazelle offers checks to the people opt for buyback offers. The trade-in program from T-Mobile is limited to those buy a new smartphone or avail a new connection on the very same account.
The iPhone 6 will be launched today but it is expected to arrive in the market for purchase on September 19. The Galaxy Note 4 which is the major competitor the iPhone 6 is yet to arrive at the store shelves. The Galaxy Note 4 and is sibling, the Galaxy Note Edge are expected to arrive together in the coming month. By that time, even other carriers like AT&T and Verizon Wireless will be offering good deals.
