Five Inexpensive 4G phones

September 9, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

These days smartphone are considered as a luxury item, but the new models decreases the cost of the previous ones. Therefore, several smartphones are pretty affordable and comes with some powerful features. Some of these inexpensive smartphone also contains a 4G feature.

Following are the six best inexpensive 4G smartphones.

Sony Xperia E3 (~£150) :

Sony has revealed the most affordable smartphone Sony Xperia E3 at a price of  nearly £150. The device will be available in U.K till the end of this month.

This smartphone comes with a 4.5 inch display screen and has a 1.2 GHz quad core processor along with 1GB of RAM.  Sony Xperia E3 runs on Android Kitkat which is the latest version of Android till date. The device is offering the device in three different colors that are White, Yellow, Red or Black. Sony Xperia contains a slim and lightweight exterior.

Sony Xperia comes with an internal memory of 4 GB with a slot of mircoSD card.  However, the rear camera is relatively better as compared to the front camera. The device has a VGA front facing camera for video calling and 5 megapixel rear facing camera.

On the whole, it is a good package with 4G handset and a quadcore processor, but no doubt it is a bit shocking that the company cannot even include a 720p display.

Nokia Lumia 735 (~£200)

The Nokia Lumia 735 is a new member of Lumia family.  Nokia has packed it with Windows Phone 8.1 and brand new Lumia Denim. It would be available at a cost of nearly £200 in the markets of UK.  It is  an astonishingly well-rounded smartphone.

Nokia Lumia 735 has a front facing camera of 5 mega pixels which promises solid selfies. Whereas, the device has a more powerful rear camera of 6.7 mega-pixel. The company has offered an LED flash and Zeiss optics along with the camera. The product has a 4.7 inch 720 display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core and 1 GB of RAM.

Nokia designed this phone with a plastic material which is quite unusual as compared to the other phones available in markets. Buyers can easily ignore the plasticky material of Nokia Lumia 735 since it comes at a very inexpensive rate. People who dislike to hold a heavy and thick phone will definitely prefer this phone because it is quite thin and lighter in weight. Moreover, the device comes with a number of different back covers.

Moto G with 4G (~£150):

Analysts rated Moto G as the most successful phone by Motorola company up till now. It has some really incredible features such as 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1GB of RAM.  The device has a display of  4.5 inch 720 x 1280. Nevertheless, the best thing about this phone is that it has the latest version of Android and still comes at a low price.

A few features which are not present in this smartphone is 4G LTE and a micro SD card. The company has added these two major features in the latest version that is new Moto G.

It contains a camera of 5 mega pixel which gives a satisfactory result. Even this feature is justifiable since it is available at a price of £150.

It is not an easy task to choose between the Sony Xperia E-3 and Moto G.  Undoubtedly, Motorola has a better display and an improved front facing camera but the problem is that its new version is about to reach the markets. On the other hand, Sony Xperia E-3 is a brand new smartphone.

Google Nexus 5 (~£299):

We cannot consider Google Nexus 5 an affordable smartphone since its price is £299. However, the device is really remarkable because it comes with a 2.3 GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM. These features are usually available in a smartphone of £400-£500.

Furthermore, it contains an attractive 4.95 inch 1080 x 1920 screen  which has a pixel density of 445 per inch. The device has a NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 support therefore it can be said that it is the complete package. Although, it has a very normal camera of 8 mega pixels without any MicroSD card slot, but as far as it is offered at only  £200 than these things are acceptable.

The best thing is that it is a product of Google, which signifies that the user always get updated to the latest version of android. If a person wish to purchase a 4G handset at a low cost, then this is certainly the best device.

EE Kestrel (£99):

The main aim of which Kesteral wants to attain through EE is to bring more people to 4G networks. The company intends to do this by selling a 4G equipped phone at the possible lowest price. Therefore, Kesteral retails EE at £99.

Most of the people think that it must be a bad handset because of its price which is not the case. The phone has a 4.5 inch 540 x 960 is sub-HD screen that gives a quite good quality. EE is a slim phone with a 7.85mm thickness and powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and a 5 megapixel camera.

The phone possess an internal storage of 8GB with an option of a microSD card slot and  still it is just of £99. However, this is not the best package but it has positively the most inexpensive phone which offers a 4G. The only set back is that it comes in a single network that is EE.

HTC Desire 610 (~£220):

The HTC desire 610 is another reasonable Android smartphone with 4G LTE support. The device has a few more advantages as compared to the other phones. First one is that the device comes with HTC software as well as with excellent HTC Senser user interface.

In addition, it has an extremely decent rear facing camera of 8 mega-pixel along with LED flash. Desire 610 has a grand music playback since it has HTC Boomsound audio technology.

The company has also included a 4.7 inch 720p HD display, a quad core 1.2GHz processor and 8GB of internal storage. On the whole, HTC smartphone is good choice for the people who love music and photography.

Galaxy Note Edge Release Date & Carriers

September 6, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

Samsung Galaxy Edge will soon join Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in the market. The company has confirmed a release date  for every country except the United State. People are eager to know something related to the upcoming device and the carriers it will offer.

Yesterday, Samsung revealed few new devices such as Galaxy Note 4, Gear VR virtual reality headset, Gear S smart phone. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a strange appearance, much different from  the Galaxy Note 4 and all the previous devices.

The device offers some features that are incredibly exclusive. Display of this phone is the most noteworthy thing because  the company breaks the trend of the typical flat screen through it. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a unique screen which wraps around the edges of the smartphone.

This curved screen will certainly appeal a lot of customers and will generate a large revenue. However, the device comes with some other notable features which are as follows. These features surely have the strength to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

  1. 5.6-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD AMOLED Display
  2. 2.7 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 805 with 3GB of RAM
  3. 32 or 64GB storage options, with micro-SD support
  4. Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Samsung TouchWiz
  5. 16 Megapixel Rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization
  6. 3.7 front camera for wide-angle selfies, and panoramic front photos
  7. 3,000 mAh battery
  8. Curved display on right side for notifications and more
  9. 151.3 x 82.4 x 8.3mm, 174 grams

Naturally, people are also interested in Samsung’s brand new Galaxy Note Edge just like they are curious about the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.  The chief issue is that  the release date of Galaxy Edge is not verified yet. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to launch till the end of October but the people are still unaware when Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will touch the markets.

We wish to guess the release date of Samsung  Galaxy Note Edge through leaked information.

Release Date:

Samsung announced a rather ambiguous launch date of Samsung Galaxy Note Edge at the end of yesterday’s event. Instead of announcing any particular date the company  merely stated that Galaxy Note Edge will arrive sometime later this year.

There is not even a single rumor  regarding the specific date so it can be said that it may take a few days or months. The most significant thing related to this matter is that the Galaxy Note Edge has passed through the FCC.  It is certainly one of the final obstacles which the device has to pass through before it is launched. However, FCC filing came without any particular release date, but still this step demonstrates that Samsung is quite nearer to launch this device.

U.S Release Date of Galaxy Note Edge:

Nothing is a word which concludes everything associated with the release date of Samsung Galaxy Note Edge in the United State. The company and the carriers are not saying a single word on this matter and FCC filing is the only thing that can indicate something about it.

Undoubtedly, Samsung has a huge market in the United States.  At the time of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 the company declared a worldwide release date in October. People are expecting the same thing with the case of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge that Samsung will launch it in world wide. This assumption is quite convincing, but still it is not verified.

AT&T Galaxy Note Edge:

The AT&T has confirmed that  the carrier has offered zilch. The company has organized a special sign up page which will allow users to get official information through email regarding this new product. However, the pricing, release date and  other important details are not mentioned on that page.

Sprint Galaxy Note Edge:

On the other hand, Sprint has also verified the news, but it has not formed  any special page for this device like it did for Samsung Galaxy Note 4. In short, we can say that nothing is evident about the Galaxy Note Edge date in the United States.

T-Mobile Galaxy Note Edge:

T-Mobile, an American entity of wireless network confirmed the news related to  Galaxy Note Edge in yesterday’s launch event. The company provides a splash page, just like AT&T where customers can go and get information through email. However, the company is offering something which can attract a lot of customers.

T-Mobile provides a pre-registration for the Galaxy Note Edge. The contest gives an opportunity to win various prizes and will remain open till the 11 of September. It is no doubt an inducement which no one else is offering.

U.S Cellular Galaxy Note Edge:

U.S Cellular is considered as the fifth largest carrier of the nation.  The carrier will release Galaxy Note 4 in the month of October but it is still unclear whether it will release Galaxy Note Edge or not. It has not officially declared anything related to Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

Verizon Galaxy Note Edge:

The launch date of Verizon Galaxy Note Edge is in the pipeline since the company has announced that the device “will be coming soon”.  However, the company has not yet stated the name of any particular month.

Verizon is also offering a sign up and says that the people who do sign up will be the first to  get pre order,  product and launch details.

6 Remedies Suggested By The Doctors To Fight Against Seasonal Allergies

September 4, 2014 By Kenneth Scott Leave a Comment

Let’s talk about children first.  There are some beliefs that changing a mother’s diet during pregnancy or while breast feeding will prevent allergies.  Changing a child’s diet or formulas does not seem to prevent allergies.  Family genetics play a role here.

If there is a family history of eczema, food intolerances, and allergies, you can manage the situation in several different ways.  First, if the child is being breast fed continuing breast feeding until four months of age or more, this may help prevent cow milk allergy (atopic dermatitis) and the associated wheezing in early childhood. Make sure that you discuss infant feeding with your doctor.  You will want to follow their advise for introduction of new foods as your baby gets older.  Following the doctor’s recommendations may help prevent some allergies.

Another theory involving infant exposure to allergens is called the “hygiene hypothesis”.  It has been observed that infants that live on farms and are exposed to allergens, especially the airborne type, like animal dander and dust mites tend to have fewer allergies because their environment is not as clean as others.

As with any other allergies that have developed, following the prescribed treatment and avoiding the things that cause the allergies is the best method to prevent allergy attacks.

Keeping an ongoing list of allergies or what triggers them will help you a lot.  If you know what allergies, you have than you can try to avoid them. By avoiding things you know will trigger your allergies you’ll feel better.

Knowing the pollen pattern and when it is going to hit your area is one way to start treatment before the allergies hit you. You can get on the internet and search for allergies to find the sites that post all types of allergy and pollen information. Some will even send you e-mail and let you know 4 weeks before the allergy season is going to hit your town.
