It is caused by the various genetic and environmental factors. The diagnosis based on the pattern of symptoms and response towards medications.
Asthma is diagnosed usually as per the symptoms and the level of seriousness is also determined through the response towards the symptoms. But due to the lack of the awareness asthma related cases are resulted as deaths of several people. The mainstream of asthma-related hospital visits and deaths are avoidable. Many patients do not view their symptoms as serious enough to permit treatment or control.
The attitude of these patients leads the minor symptom to an uncontrollable threat. People whose asthma is not under control can possibly be terrified into a lethal situation by the illness.
astAsthma UK wrote to the newspaper “People with very severe asthma have told us of problems doing even simple things like walking, dressing, caring for children, doing the shopping or getting a full night’s sleep, Let us be in no doubt; asthma is serious”.
To control asthma is advised that asthma sufferers avoid triggers and factors that encourage symptoms. For example, dust sets off a person’s asthma; they should avoid outdoor activities or at least cover the face with masks.

It appears asthma occurrence is swelling globally. Currently, approximately 300 million people around the world have asthma. This number is predicted to grow by more than 10 Billion by 2025.
The reason of the occurrence and increase in number is not known and clear but this is for sure that asthma is not a minor decease. We should take precautions as much as possible to safe ourselves and people around us.
