The Galaxy Note 4 and the Sony Xperia Z3 have arrived. The Motorola Moto X+1 will be unveiled today. The Moto X+1 will succeed last year’s Moto X smartphone.
Motorola which is now in the processing of getting acquired by Lenovo was written off by the tech pundits as the company struggled miserably few years and lost over $4.2 billion from 2007 to 2009. The company was then divided into Motorola Solutions and Motorola Mobility. The latter was then taken over by Google in 2012.
In August 2013, Motorola Mobility released the Moto X+1. It was the first smartphone launched by the company after it was acquired by Google. Motorola Mobility started advertising the Moto X by stating that the handset was completely assembled in the United States. The company even highlighted that the handset could be fully customized by choosing the preferred colors before placing the order.
Moto X received rave reviews from most of the tech sites. The device came with 4.7inch HD screen, Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 1GB RAM, 10MP camera and a good 2200mAh battery. Current line of smartphones come with full HD screens are mainly running on quad-core Snapdragon 800 or Snapdragon 801 processors.
New smartphones like the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, and LG G3 LTE-A are housed with powerful Snapdragon 805 processors. Still, the device is doing pretty well in the market as a budget range smartphone. However, now it is the perfect time to replace it with the newer model. Motorola Mobility has to offer the new Moto X+1 with powerful specs.
Today, Motorola will not only release the Moto X+1 smartphone but also another budget-friendly smartphone, the Moto G2 along with the Moto 360 smartwatch.
