The LG FLEX is in a curved screen, the first to be put in use in a mobile phone.
Has LG achieved success with the curved screen and the flexible mobile model? Such a question needs an answer especially at this time when the market does not have much growth. And an answer cannot be obtained without proper analysis.
Let’s analyze the market first. Currently IOS and Android dominate the market which has made blackberry, firefox and other mobile phones just prove their existence once in a while.
And the only way they get to do that is if they do something different , which Nokia has done with its Lumia 1020 and its 41 megapixels and Sony with its high-end devices.
And in the case of LG, the flexible and the curved screen. Has LG achieved success? Apart from the curved screen and flexibility what else does the mobile feature and is it worth?

DESIGN: The phone comes in a 6inch big device which is pretty bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Note 3, which were the biggest mobile phones till now. But still due to its curved surfaced screen the LG flex is not only better looking but is also easy to use.
Another important feature with the LG that makes it different from the other mobile phones is the keys. LG started placing the buttons at the rear with the G2 and LG FLEX features the same which adds to the phone’s good looks.
LG also has the feature where the phone can be locked or unlocked just by double tapping the screen. This is pretty cool.
And also the rear side of the phone is capable of repairing itself i.e; it can get rid of minor scratches.
The LG FLEX feels good feels good works good and on the whole it is great to own one and the only time it might feel uncomfortable is when placed in the pant pockets, the phone’s size added to the curved screen does cause discomfort when placed in pockets.
As an added discomfort to the phone the curved screen when turned sideways at an angle causes a slight tint in the corner when the screen is exposed to sunlight. And also when light shines directly on the screen, it causes a reflection on the screen. And we do miss the full HD resolution screen which is available in the devices that fall in the LG FLEX size category.
Software and Performance
LG showed a great improvement in both the software and the speed with the LG Optimus G, but still had some minor defects. And Although the LG FLEX has improvements in these issues it still is not as expected.
Despite the drawbacks the LG FLEX has quite a lot of different and amazing features such as:
Knock On: The LG FLEX comes with the Knock on feature by which the device can be locked and unlocked simply by double-clicking on the screen.
Quick Remote: Another awesome feature in the LG FLEX is that, by using the infrared port on the rear, all kinds of electronic gadgets from TVs to air conditioners, projectors, etc. can be controlled.
LG G Flex is able to move around as silk, from simple tasks like web browsing, multitasking and demanding similar to games. Besides good software optimization made ??by LG, the manager of this excellent performance is the 800 MSM8974 Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC-AA incorporating therein. Specifically, the SoC includes a CPU Quad-Core Krait cores 400 to 2.26 GHz, GPU Adreno 330 and 450 MHz, 28 nanometres and is manufactured with support for LTE networks, memories LPDDR3 up to 800 MHz, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi- Fi n / ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). In other words, one of the most powerful and complete SoCs that can be found today, surpassed only by the Snapdragon 801 of the new generation of smartphones in 2014.
Camera
LG FLEX comes with a 13 megapixel camera accompanied by an LED flash but does not have optical image stabilization. Under proper lighting conditions, the LG G Flex is able to take fair photographs.
Autonomy and sound
When used moderately the LG FLEX can be used all day and when used heavily the phone’s battery comes up to 17 hours.
The LG G Flex offers a higher level of decibels above the average and a pretty rich sound.
The advantages and disadvantages of the LG FLEX can be classified as:
Advantage:
Good autonomy
Shell scratch resistant self-healing
Comfortable
Easy controls
Disadvantage:
The curved panels need improvements in some aspects
Conclusion:
On the whole the LG FLEX is a great phone and LG has definitely succeeded in creating a new design in the smart phone category. With minor changes and improvements to its curved screen and user interface, the company can conquer the mobile phone market.
