Gas prices in Ohio have increased slightly to start the work week but have managed to remain lower than the national average.
The average price of a gallon of regular gas was $3.49 in Monday’s survey. Now that’s two more cents than last week however it is also $28 cents lower than last month.
The national average on Monday was $3.57, that’s 4 cents lower than last week and its also 10 cents lower than the price last year at this time.
There has been some speculation among the analysts who say that the price of crude oil increased as a result of the anxiety about the Middle East. It must be noted though, that the possibility of disruption in supplies was minute.
