Google’s appeal to dismiss the privacy law suit has been rejected on Tuesday. Google now has to confront fraud and violation of contract case filed by Android users who downloaded at least one app from it. Google has forwarded his users data to different advertising companies without their consent.
The part of court case which includes complains of customers who left Google after its change of policy is rebuffed. This law suit occurred on March 1, 2012 when Google altered its rules and instead of making various regulations, it made merely one for all which stated that user’s data is accessible to some advertising companies. This data is collected from platforms such as gmail, Google Maps and YouTube.
Users objected that Google made these changes without giving any option and notifying them. Google did it in contemplation of getting advertisement profits like numerous other companies. Truth is that in the first quarter Google’s revenue increased till 90 percent due to this modification in policies.
On the other hand, customers considered it extremely dangerous since all their confidential information like name, residence, and email address has been given to some unknown advertising company.
