Apple and Samsung the two biggest competitors have settled to leave all the court cases against each other outside the U.S.
Both the companies have claimed each other over several patent disagreement in nine countries other than U.S. these nine countries are UK, South Korea, Japan and Germany. This deal clearly states that the companies would not back out from the court cases of the United States.
Presently, Apple and Samsung are the two organizations which are the largest player in smartphones and tablet PC market. However, the companies are right now facing each other in legal fights all over the globe.
Apple was the first to sue Samsung in U.S after which a series of court cases started among the companies. It openly claimed that Samsung range of Galaxy smartphones and tablets are the perfect imitation of iphone and ipad. The feature of “slide unlock” is primarily the bone of contention between two organizations. After that Samsung has also sued Apple over various issues which contain the rights of synchronize photos, music, videos and so on.
Whereas, the major legal fights are still going on in the United state of America. Lately, Apple has won two of these cases in the United States of America.
Apple wants Samsung to pay the amount of $2.2 since it broke two of its main patents. On the contrary, US court ordered Samsung to merely pay $119.6m to the company. This amount is nothing against what Apple asked. The court asked Apple as well to pay Samsung $158000 for infringing some of Samsung’s patents.
