Featured with extra-add-ons, Windows 8.1 is a complete fix to Windows 8. The package is promising and tempting with full-featured mail app for Facebook, peek bar in outlook, Explorer 11 and Windows scan app. The interface changes and SkyDrive integration are additional feathers on the hat. The desired layout of startup screen, desktop taskbar and settings on both Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 RT are synchronized by SkyDrive. The installation is very simple as it needs only a minor up-gradation from Windows 8. Re-installation of Windows Store, desktop applications, any files and apps are not required. The all new Windows 8.1 houses the revamped start screen enhanced with more tile sizes. It facilitates laying out multiple apps simultaneously on the screen and locks the screen into a photo gallery.
Two other major interface changes are that, it allows smart search and fast handling of multiple modern app windows on screen. With the advanced snap view options, the user has the feasibility to split two or several Windows Store apps on the main screen. In desktops with larger screen, user can snap two to four windows side by side. File saving and accessing has been scaled to perfection. As a default option, Windows 8.1 saves new files on SkyDrive, enabling universal availability i.e. on every PC the user integrates or uses. It can also sync files from the cloud automatically. Internet browsing is faster with IE 11 allowing multiple tabs and toggling between them is extremely fast. This operation uses very little CPU memory.
Over all Windows 8.1 has improved performance with better SkyDrive Integration and more ways to personalize your personal computer.
