Apple declared the release date of iOS 8 in the middle of the launch of iPhone 6 and Apple iWatch. The new mobile operating system would be available till the 17 of September.
The devices for which iOS 8 would be offered are iPhone 4s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPod touch 5thgeneration, iPad 2, iPad Air, iPad mini.
iOS 8 seems like a renovation of iOS 7 which was launched in the month of June last year. It will enable the user to work with the notifications from the lock screen. Moreover, this feature will let users share their data with others. This feature was merely available for a few applications in the past
